Inside My Head

{September 21, 2007}   boo

i’m home! um i’m still very full from everything today. ok let’s see. we finished our last chem paper!! woohoo!!

so i did hit the town with my classmates. we watched ratatoueille and had lunch at sakae teppanyaki. yep food was not bad. a bit ex but filling, and quite fun to choose all your own dishes. walked arnd for a while with tian, then went to find sing and her friends, then decided to meet up with eddy and michelle at forever 21 to shop! my goodness we spent more than 1 hour, perhaps 2, in the same shop. hahaha we were trying clothes over and over again, and kept going back to the queue to try more. fortunately we all bought something in the end. shopping was so fun! and i think we’re all the same kind of shoppers hehe.

next, met my brother at coffee club at holland v for dinner. it was a super yummy meal! loved my seafood lasagne. it was absolutely delicious, the mix of sauce and cheese wowed me, and i think it’s better than nydc anytime, maybe even swensen’s. liked his miso soft shell crab, and had the banana smoothie too. remind me of my favourite banana smoothie i had every other day in laos! super yummy, i think they added coconut milk and some other random stuff in laos. uh now the highlight… then we headed over to cold rock for ice cream, which is this new kid on the block opposite hagen dazs. they have many toppings you can choose from, and they’ll mix them into your ice cream on the spot in front of you. so it’s supposed to be quite fun to watch.

so then my brother told me to go order. i got a large cup, choc mint and ferrero. well, i totally had no idea how i’m supposed to order, so i just added in malteasers, rocky road and almonds. and the bill came up to $10.50! whoops =D good thing my brother gave me 50 bucks hahah. oh well too bad it was his idea. he reminded me that a tub of haagen dazs costs $11. and the ice cream isn’t even all that nice. pretty ordinary, even average. not worth it at all. i much prefer venezia, daily scoop or island creamery anytime. they have more interesting flavours and the ice cream is richer. at least adding in malteasers was a good idea =D

speaking of which, there’s this ice cream place called Tom’s Palette at bridge road which supposedly has very good ice cream too! anyone wants to go check it out with me?

IRELAND vs FRANCE TONIGHT!!!! woohoo i’m going to watch i’m going to watch. just as long as i can wake up haha. it’ll be such a good 2 hours of finally being able to watch rugby. i’ve already missed 2 weeks of rugby, actually any match now will do. and more exciting matches the next few days. =)

ok i’m going for a quick night run, then back for a nice long shower. ahh joys of such relaxation. at least i’ve no plans for tomorrow so i’m just going to sleep in first. hopefully i won’t be too bored in the afternoon =(
